Celebrating World Photography Day with Santechidea

What is Photography? In my words, capturing moments in digital or still form is called Photography. Photos help us to reminiscence the moments we spend. We cherish memory with a piece of art called Photos. It is the most exotic popular recreation and creative activity in today's world.

There are many technical definitions. Some say photography is the art of capturing light with a camera, generally via a digital sensor or film, to create an image. It is the art, application, and execution of creating long-lasting images by recording light chemically or electronically.

Every year on August 19th, photographers worldwide celebrate World Photography Day—commemorating the art, craft, science, and history of photographic invention.

The photographic process was popularized in the form of the Daguerreotype by French inventors Louis Daguerre and Joseph Nicéphore Niépce in 1837, and officially purchased by the French government in 1839 as a gift 'free to the world.'
